What is a Trumeau Mirror?

One of our favorite mirrors to buy in France is a trumeau, a large mirror set within a decorative panel often with an oil painting or wood carving above the mirror. Sometimes called overmantel mirrors, they can also be used in a foyer, hallways, stairwells, anywhere you need an elegant mirror. Pictured are a few of the selections we currently have in stock.
